On May 24, 2018, the Small and medium Businesses Corporation signed an MOU with Zhongguancun Inno Way for “cooperation between small and medium venture companies in Korea and China."
February 22, 2018, Small and medium Business Corporation (SBC) signed an MOU with VTVB, which is an affiliated company of VTV (Vietnam national broadcast), on ‘the service of indirect advertising support of small business products using Vietnamese TV broadcasting.’
Small and medium Business Corporation held an opening ceremony on December 8, 2017 at the Bhiraj Tower in Bangkok, Thailand, where Korean and Indonesian leaders met, to open a ‘Bangkok Business Incubator’ for small businesses to advance into Thailand market.
The Small and medium Business Corporation held ‘2017 APEC Women Business Leaders Forum’ in The-K Hotel, Seoul, on November 9, 2017, with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association. The forum was held under the theme of `The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Future of Women Business Leaders” and about 200 participants attended in the event including foreign ambassadors, women`s policy leaders in APEC economies, successful female entrepreneurs, and women who will run their own business in the future.
SBC President Lim Chae-un attended the `12th East Asia SME Round Table Meeting` held in Hua Hin, Thailand, on July 6-7, 2017, and discussed cooperation methods between the organizations to support SMEs’ export.
Under the theme of ‘Support for Digitalization of SMEs’, heads of organizations from each country had a conference and a debate. SBC President Lim Chae-un explained about the supporting business for a smart factory and etc. derived good atmosphere in the meeting.
Sh. Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of MSME, Government of India and Minister of International Trade & Industry, Government of Malaysia, Dr. Mustapa Mohamed, witnessed the MoU for Cooperation in MSME sector signed between National Small Industries Corporation of India and SME Corp. Malaysia.
Sh. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC and Ms. Alka Arora, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME addressed the Korean and Indian SMEs on the opportunities of cooperation in MSME sector between the two countries at the “India Korea Technology Exchange Conference” organized by NSIC along with SBC, South Korea at New Delhi on December 5, 2017.
Madam (Dr.) Ameenah Gurib Fakim, Hon’ble President of Mauritius visited MSME NSIC Pavilion - International SME Innovation & Technology Fair, 2017 (Mauritius) held from 12th to 14th May, 2017. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC briefed the Hon’ble President about the working Indian Technologies placed at the pavilion and also apprised that 25 Indian MSMEs from different sectors displaying affordable technologies capable of gainfully engaging youth in self-employment.

Delegation from Taiwan visited NSIC Technical Services Center, Okhla, New Delhi and taken tour to the NSIC`s Advance Training center. The delegation comprise of government officials and industry representatives appreciated the efforts of NSIC for creating modern facilities for imparting practical training. The visiting delegates expressed desire to associate with "Center of Excellence for Industry 4.0" proposed to be set by NSIC in association with National Productivity Council, India.

Dr. Hafsah Hashim, CEO, SME Corp., Malaysia along with Ms. Sharifah N.S.A. Bakar, Senior Director of Business Advisory & Support Div. and Ms. Azyani A. Hamid, Sr. Manager, International Cooperation Division, SME Corp. called upon Mr. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC at NSIC Corporate Office on 30.03.2017 to discuss areas of mutual cooperation for SME development. Mr. Nath briefed them about how NSIC is promoting and developing MSMEs in India & abroad.
